Ya burned me/ I left the place blistered and red-faced
I learned a lesson/ ya earned my respect
I see you everyday and we’re cool – no sweat

It’s good ya not too proud, and always give the time of day
Even though ya got ya head in the clouds
Ya still down to earth and mingle with the regular crowds.

Runnin’ round spaced out/ dusted up/ stealin’ gas and stuff
It’s ok to have a shady past

Breakin’ thru windows/ but I wouldn’t call it thievin’
Ya take youth but replace it with age
And I appreciate ya hustle putting food on the plate
Man I’m a junkie for ya Vitamin D
Ya always charge me/ yet you let me try it for free
And it’s fine to O.D/ there’s no fatal amounts
I like to chill but it’s hard when you blaze on the couch
They call it Spring/ but that aint when you bounce
It’s when you hang around more packin’ heat in the house
